Route 2 Reopening
November 30, 2016I am happy to report that this holiday season will be a much smoother ride for travelers! The DOT has announced that this ramp bridge connecting Governor Street to Route 2 Eastbound will be opened this afternoon.

Sikorsky Deal
September 28, 2016I am pleased to announce the General Assembly has approved a deal with Sikorsky Aircraft, which has made its home in Stratford since 1929, to remain in the state until at least 2032.

Free summer meals for kids and teens 18 years of age and under are available at sites across Connecticut. End Hunger Connecticut has created an interactive map that shows every location in the state where free summer meals are offered.

The Office of Early Childhood (OEC) announced today that it has found a way to ensure families currently enrolled in the Care4Kids program continue to receive the child care subsidy as long as they meet the current income eligibility requirement.
