Tax Free Week
August 18, 2017I want to inform you about CT's Tax Free Week, which runs Sunday, August 20 to Saturday, August 26. With the 2017-18 academic year starts, many Connecticut families will spend the coming weeks stocking up on new school supplies.
On average, most families spend about $700 on back-to-school shopping and since every dollar helps. The annual one-week sales and use tax exclusion eliminates the sales tax on clothing and footwear costing less than $100.
