CT Receives Major Federal Water Infrastructure Funding

I am very pleased to report that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced the State of Connecticut was awarded a total of $30,770,000 in Clean Water and Drinking Water grants to finance community-based water infrastructure projects, such as upgrades to municipal sewage plants and public drinking water systems.

Energy Bill Passes House In Concurrence With The Senate

Today, in the early morning hours, I found myself in the middle of the most wrenching situation I've had in my eight years in the Legislature. The end result was important: the landmark energy bill passed the House and will be sent to the Governor for signing.
