I am thrilled to announce that I worked with my colleagues in the legislature, to create a legislative working group that will work together to study existing policies and identify opportunities to support local Downtown Main Street across the state.

I am honored that I have received a 100% mark from the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced they will expand the Hartford Line and Shore Line East Service for the Thanksgiving travel period. Last year, over 4,000 riders utilized the Hartford Rail, Amtrak, and the Shoreline East on the Wednesday before the holiday.

I supported legislation which passed with bipartisan support in the House and Senate regarding Connecticut’s rapidly growing craft beer, wine and cider industries. In just a few years short years these industries have grown from a few hundred jobs to several thousand and generate millions for the state economy.
