Hopeville Documentary Film Screening, Renters' Rebate, and Autism Acceptance Awareness Month

This week I hosted "Hopeville: How to Win the Reading Wars." A documentary film screening & panel discussion where Filmmaker Harvey Hubbell V follows a class of first-grade students over the course of a year as they learn to read using a new literacy approach. The film captures the challenges, breakthroughs, and transformative moments that define early reading development. Connecticut’s Renters’ Rebate Program is now open to eligible renters who are elderly or living with a disability and meet certain income requirements. April is Autism Acceptance Month, a time to recognize, celebrate, and honor the experiences and identities of individuals with Autism.
