As distance learning begins across our state, the Connecticut Department of Education has compiled resources for parents to take a crash course in what our kids are learning.

"Last year, our community made our voices heard when voting to approve funds for the construction of E. O. Smith's new roof and solar panels, and I'm glad we were able to correct the problem and allow these clean, sustainable solar panels to be installed on our higher school.," said Rep. Haddad.

I wrote about HB 5353 and the push for free college in our state in The Hartford Courant this morning.

This morning's event titled "Race and Human Trafficking in Connecticut" covered the disproportionate representation of children of color reported at high risk of or confirmed to be trafficked in the state.

There is a lot at stake before this short legislative session ends on May 6th.
