I just wanted to take a moment to say that it is an honor and privilege to serve the residents of Middletown. Proudly Appointed Vice Chair of the Public Health Committee
December 13, 2024I wanted to share some good news with you.
I have been appointed Vice Chair of the Public Health Committee for the 2025 legislative session, which begins on January 8th. I am humbled and honored. I want to thank the CT House Democrat leadership for its commitment and faith in me. I do not take this appointment lightly. I am committed to serving the people of Connecticut in this role to the best of my ability.
Student Loan Reimbursement Program Rolls Out in January
December 11, 2024Starting January 1, Connecticut college students will be able to benefit from a bill we passed to alleviate student loan debt. The reimbursement program, led by House Democrats and the first of its kind in the nation, provides up to $5,000/year for up to four years (up to $20,000) in loan forgiveness. Six million dollars has been allocated in the current budget cycle and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
Strengthening Pension Funds and Addressing Legacy Debt

Open Enrollment for Access Health CT Insurance
November 6, 2024Access Health CT's (AHCT) Open Enrollment period for health insurance began this month and runs through January 15, 2025.
Connecticut residents can shop, compare, and enroll in health insurance plans or renew their coverage online, in-person or by phone. Dental insurance is also available through AHCT.
Early Voting and Money for State Parks
October 29, 2024Election Day is one week away! In addition to being able to cast your ballot on November 5, CT residents will have the option to vote early through through Saturday, November 3. The polling locations will be open from 8 AM- 8 PM.
