Camp Argo and Peck Place School in Orange received state funds for new learning opportunities over the next two summers. The comes from the Connecticut Summer Enrichment Program, which is designed to connect students whose education was compromised during the pandemic.

Eversource and United Illuminating (UI), Connecticut's two electric distribution companies (EDCs), have filed new and lower standard service rates for residential customers from July 1 through December 31.

This week, I was happy to make it back up to the Capitol following my injury for two session days.

Regardless of my absence, I wanted to share a brief overview on a number of the bills that passed the House, as well as an in depth look on the passage of early voting guidelines.

It was a big week up in Hartford, both the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee and the Appropriations Committee passed their proposed adjustments to the Governor's Budget we received in February.

This is a reminder that the Hamden Assessor's Office is still accepting applications for credits on real estate tax bills for qualifying elderly and/or disabled residents and local veteran residents.

On April 1, a number of resources that offered vital assistance to our most vulnerable community members came to an end or ended expanded eligibility.
