The state is committing $70 million to offset cuts to Affordable Care Act subsidies. The funding will shield thousands of families from huge increases expected in the new year. 

Connecticut is adding up to 1,000 new spaces to the state’s Early Start CT program, opening the door for more children to access high-quality early learning and child care. Time is running out to sign up for health care with Access Health CT.

I was proud to join my colleagues in a special session to advance legislation to improve access to housing, support children’s behavioral health, bolster Connecticut’s health care system, and help our state respond to the consequences of recent federal budget cuts.

All Connecticut SNAP recipients have access to their FULL November benefits on their EBT cards.
