Sales Tax Free Week

August 15, 2021

Connecticut's 2021 Sales Tax Free Week is August 15th through August 21st. This is a great opportunity to save while preparing the kids for going back to school.

Tomorrow, August 12th, I will be holding coffee hours at South End Café and Pastry Shop. Please join me anytime between 9:30am-11:00am to discuss any questions or concerns you may have. I hope to see you there.

Capitol Tour

Tomorrow is the VIP Capitol Tour! After partnering with the League of Women Voters, I have secured an exclusive tour of the CT State Capitol for Newington residents only.

Child Tax Credit

Yesterday was National Child Tax Credit Awareness Day.

The federal child tax credit program will uplift countless working families across the nation. Under the American Rescue Plan, the child tax credit will increase from $2,000 to $3,000 for children under age 6, and to $3,600 for children ages 6-17.
