House Majority Leader Jason Rojas (D – East Hartford, Manchester) today announced his team of Deputy Majority Leaders.

"I'm incredibly excited to work alongside this group of Deputy Majority Leaders. Each member brings their own unique perspective to the role, which will be a significant asset as we review the legislative priorities for the upcoming session," said Majority Leader Rojas.  

I am pleased to report that responsible budgeting and major structural changes made to pension and teachers' retirements plans are putting Connecticut on much more solid fiscal ground and saving taxpayers billions in debt payments.

The East Hartford State Legislative Delegation, which includes House Majority Leader Jason Rojas, State Representatives Jeff Currey and Henry Genga and State Senator Saud Anwar, announced the town will receive more than $3 million in state funds as the State Bond Commission approved allocations during today's meeting.
