Applications Open for Child Tax Rebate on June 1
June 1, 2022Applications for the Child Tax Payments that was included as part of a historic $600 million in tax cuts in our 2022 state budget are now open through July 31, 2022 - recipients will receive funds beginning in late August.
Investing in Kids and Seniors
May 25, 2022This session, our work in the Connecticut General Assembly was focused on making our state more affordable for all residents. We passed a state budget adjustment bill that delivers over $650 million in tax relief for retirees, property owners, workers, parents, small businesses, and more.

A State Budget That Delivers for Families
May 6, 2022After months of negotiation and input from residents across our district, I am happy to pass along great news. On Monday, the House of Representatives passed the state budget proposal which provides $600 million in historic tax relief to meet this moment of need for so many residents in our district. It also makes vital investments in our municipalities, nonprofits, child care providers, and more.
Fighting Breast and Ovarian Cancers
April 19, 2022Last Wednesday, I stood beside my legislative colleagues and advocates to support the passage of two legislative proposals that would expand access to testing and diagnostics for breast, ovarian, and cervical cancers.
