The New Haven Health Department's Third Annual Momma's Love Community Day, a health fair for the whole family, will be held on Saturday, July 13th, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Goffe Street Park.

I wanted to pass along an important update from the Department of Social Services regarding summer food benefits.

Governor Lamont has established a working group of members representing various political affiliations and has tasked them with exploring options and developing a comprehensive legislative proposal to create a system that enables municipalities and political parties in Connecticut with the ability to use ranked-choice voting in caucuses, conventions, primaries, and certain municipal elections.

May is Maternal Mental Health Month, and every first Wednesday in May is Maternal Mental Health Day. This is a day we shine a spotlight on critical mental health issues mothers and families experience, particularly in those cultures where these issues have been stigmatized and not addressed in the way they should be, leading to even more issues that remain in silence.
