Honored And Humbled, Thank You!
Again, I am humbled and proud to receive this prestigious honor. I want to thank the NAACP Connecticut State Conference and congratulate everyone who is being recognized for their work as well.

The 100 Most Influential Blacks in Connecticut Award Ceremony celebrates renowned influencers, recognizes community leaders, and honors industry trailblazers who often go unnoticed for their exceptional contributions to the community. 

This year's event will feature a special tribute to the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop, showcasing entertainers who have made historic contributions to this influential genre, which has become one of the most prominent industries worldwide. The Sugar Hill Gang and Chubb Rock are set to perform and entertain our esteemed guests.
 
Hangin' Out With PLTI 2024 Participants
I had a great time recently serving as the guest speaker for this year's Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI) "How State Government Works" session! It was truly fellowship at its finest.
 
Our Youth, Their Time!
What an awesome JJPOC (Juvenile Justice Policy and Oversight Committee) meeting we had recently! The icing on the cake is always having our youth at the table. I love me some them!
 
Congratulations, Tiera!
Celebrating my niece Tiera's graduation from the University of Rhode Island with a Masters in Science.
 
Great Job State Representative McGee!
I was proud to support State Representative Trenee McGee at the premiere of "Call Forth A Woman" at the Shubert Theater earlier this month. Rep. McGee wrote, directed, and produced the play highlighting the stories of dynamic women in the Bible. What an inspiring production this was. Congratulations Rep. McGee!
