January 3, 2020Across the country, the U.S. Census Bureau is committed to hiring 500,000 people to help carry out the 2020 Census, and in Connecticut, the Census Bureau is set to recruit about 28,000 workers. The Bureau recently announced that effective Monday, January 6 the hourly pay rate for Connecticut census takers will increase from $21 per hour to $23 per hour.
