SNAP Eligibility Change Benefits CT Residents

November 21, 2023

Last October 2022, Governor Lamont increased the income eligibility limits for Connecticut’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). As a result, nearly 10,000 individuals in 4,980 households have benefited from the program.

Under the revised eligibility benefit levels, Connecticut residents qualify for SNAP if their monthly gross income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.

November is National Diabetes Month

It's National Diabetes month. I was diagnosed with type 2 some 12 years ago. Although I no longer take insulin, and deal with it through diet and exercise, I am personally aware of the costs of care. I did something about it for all who deal with diabetes.

Transportation Bonds Upgrade
