CTDOT has announced the implementation of alternating traffic on Route 140 and the detour of Newell Hill Road beginning April 15, weather permitting.

The purpose of the project is to increase the sight distances on Route 140 (Crystal Lake Road) for the Burbank Road intersection.

HB 5003, "An Act Concerning Child and Family Nutrition," is subject to a public hearing before the Public Health Committee on Monday, March 18. The public hearing starts at 11 a.m. I'm very proud to be championing this bill as it moves through the House and Senate.

Public hearings continue to take place and I can't wait to share more information with you on a child nutrition priority bill I'll be bringing out on the House Floor before the session ends.
