I will be co-hosting a virtual forum with my colleagues, Lucy Dathan and Senator Ceci Maher to discuss "Everything Energy" with special guests Marissa Gillett, Chairwoman of Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) and Hank Webster, BETP Deputy Commissioner – Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (DEEP).

I worked in the medical field for about 40 years before joining the Connecticut House of Representatives. My experience has lead me to serve on the Public Health Committee, where I have supported a series of bills.

It’s been an amazing week as we celebrate Women’s History Month around Connecticut. March is a time to celebrate women who have inspired change throughout history and to recognize those who continue to fight for the fair and equitable treatment of women and girls around the world.

I want to hear your priorities for 2023 and beyond. We face several issues affecting virtually everyone in the state of Connecticut.

As a newly elected representative, it is important to meet as many residents as I can in Wilton, Ridgefield, and New Canaan as well as conduct my work in Hartford.

I'm making a big effort to meet more of you as the legislative session rolls on. In the coming days, I will be part of two community discussions with fellow lawmakers in the 42nd district.

I'm continuing to advocate for a more environmentally friendly Connecticut as we move forward this legislative session. One of my top priorities right now is protecting our air, trees, and wilderness.

I am proud to support our youth in the 42nd district and the rest of Connecticut. On Thursday, we voted unanimously to invest in our schools and that money will go a long way in Wilton, New Canaan, and Ridgefield.
