Post Road Paving Next Week
May 5, 2026Next week, CTDOT will begin a construction project that may impact your commute.
From May 13 - May 15, workers will mill a portion of Route 1 Westport from Route 136 (Compo Road South) to State Service Road 476 northbound (Sherwood Island Connector). That same area will be resurfaced from May 17 - May 22. Construction will take place from 7:00 PM -5:00 AM, and drivers should expect lane closures during this time.
