Santiago Named Deputy Majority Leader
Rep. Hilda Santiago, who began serving her third legislative term, has been promoted to Deputy Majority Leader for the 2017 Legislative Session. She will continue to serve on the Human Services and the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committees. Additionally, she has been appointed to serve on the General Administration and Elections Committee.
“I’m grateful to Speaker Aresimowicz for entrusting me with this leadership role,” Rep. Santiago said. “It is an honor to represent my constituents in this new capacity. I look forward to capitalizing on every opportunity I get to help move our state and our community forward.”
