Last Saturday, the Connecticut NAACP held a ceremony to celebrate the 100 most influential Blacks in the state. It was was an honor to be listed alongside so many talented, smart and innovative Black individuals who have worked hard to make Connecticut great.
Tomorrow is Independence Day! I hope you are able to spend quality time with family and friends and taking advantage of the beautiful days of summer.
