Rep. Rader Receives Perfect Score by CTLCV
I'm happy to share with you that the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters recently released its Environmental Scorecard report on the recent legislative session and gave me a 100% environmental scorecard rating.
I'm proud to support bills that are important for the environment, including the energy bill, climate resiliency, environmental rights, invasive plants, climate change, and food waste.
This includes:
- Funding for climate resilience planning to protect towns from flooding and rising seas
- Requirements that homebuyers are notified if a property is at climate risk
- Grants for towns to strengthen bridges, coastlines, and local infrastructure
- New rules to phase out harmful pesticides and protect our environment long-term
- Committing Connecticut to net-zero emissions, with strong interim goals to slash carbon pollution over the next two decades
