Rep Pat Dillon: Response Fund, Budget Briefing, Environment

Dear Neighbor,

The General Assembly got off to a strong start this week.

First, the Governor released his budget adjustments, which will be deliberated after our nonpartisan analysts provide information on details.

Second. the legislature adopted AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE FEDERAL CUTS RESPONSE FUND. Click here for more information on that bill.

Third, on Thursday, the Governor's budget office (OPM) provided a quick summary of the budget. I expressed concern about the closure and merging of services for vulnerable young people in greater New Haven in recent months.

Fourth, on Friday the Environment Committee raised concepts, some which I had requested for action. Click here to access the agenda.
