Rep. Dillon - The Government Shutdown's Impact on Connecticut and Resources at Jewish Family Services

View this email in your browser Dear Neighbor,  Many of you have reached out to ask about the potential impact of the government shutdown on Connecticut residents. On Wednesday, Governor Lamont announced that community assistance programs, such as winter heating relief and Medicaid, will continue to be operational for the time being.  Click here to read a CT Mirror article with more information.  This week, I attended a ceremony at Jewish Family Services naming their pantry for the late Barry J Vine.  The pantry is located on upper Whalley Ave, an important location for an area that could use more services. JFS and others deserve our support because they’ll be an important resource in coming days.
