Fairfield & Trumbull Receive LOTCIP Funds

I'm happy to share that Fairfield & Trumbull have both been awarded funding through the Connecticut Department of Transportation's Local Transportation Capital Improvement Program (LOTCIP).

I'm happy to share that Fairfield & Trumbull have both been awarded funding through the Connecticut Department of Transportation's Local Transportation Capital Improvement Program (LOTCIP). The program was created in 2013 & provides state dollars in lieu of federal funds to municipalities to help execute important local infrastructure projects.

Fairfield - $4,437,138 for the Commerce Drive Bridge Replacement
Trumbull - $2,609,555 for Spring Hill Road Improvements

Over the last 12 months, CTDOT has awarded more than $57.3 million for 17 projects across Connecticut through this program. Since its inception, nearly 190 projects have been awarded funding totaling close to $408 million.
