August's 109th Spotlight

August 30, 2024

For August's 109th Spotlight, I would like to highlight Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR), an addiction recovery center that recently opened a location in Danbury.

Highlights from the Danbury Recovery Community Center Open House

Last week, I had the privilege of attending the Danbury Recovery Community Center Open House, and I couldn't be more proud to have been there alongside Mayor Roberto Alves and Senator Julie Kushner to support this incredible organization.
A big thanks to the CCAR staff and volunteers, who have worked tirelessly to make this center a reality. Their commitment to the cause of recovery is inspiring, and I am confident that the work they will be doing here in Danbury will have a profound impact on countless lives.
I look forward to seeing the positive changes that will undoubtedly stem from this center's work in the coming months and years. Thank you to everyone who made the open house such a success.
