I was thrilled to see the allocation of nearly $500,000 to the Lyman Allyn Art Museum as part of a $7 million state grant for upgrades and improvements at 34 cultural and historical sites in Connecticut.
The grant will revitalize and transform the museum’s 12-acre outdoor greenspace into a modern urban art park.
The Lyman Allyn Art Museum houses art from all over the world, providing residents of New London a glimpse of culture and history from ancient times to modern day. It’s great to see the museum is getting a nearly $500,000 grant to make the experience even better for our residents.
