East Hartford COVID-19 Testing Options
 

The Town of East Hartford has partnered with Express Diagnostics to offer rapid COVID-19 testing on Wednesdays, 10 AM to 2 PM at St. Isaac Jogues Church at 1 Community Street, through February. Testing is offered to all on a first come, first served basis. There will be no out-of-pocket expenses. ID and insurance card are not required.

Rapid antigen test kits are also available for pick up at the East Hartford Health Department for symptomatic or exposed residents. Please call the Health Department at 860-291-7324 to reserve a test kit and request a curbside pickup at the Town Hall. There is a limit of one test kit per household. Resident Advisory Council 2022 Community Meetings
 
The Resident Advisory Council meets monthly to provide a space for EH residents to have their voices heard. Meetings are held on the third Monday of the month from 12-1 pm. The RAC provides EH residents with the opportunity to take on leadership roles in civic engagement and participate in training opportunities. Meetings are virtual through Zoom. The first meeting of the year will be held on January 24th. Eversource Lineworker Certificate Program
 
Are you interested in becoming a Lineworker with Eversource?
The utility industry is experiencing tremendous growth in meeting and serving the energy demands of homeowners, businesses and municipalities across CT. There is a high demand for skilled resources to construct, maintain and service the electric infrastructure.
 
Eversource Energy is partnering with Capital Community College and IBEW Locals 420 and 457 to deliver a Lineworker Certificate Program, which has been specifically designed to help develop the future workforce needed in this exciting field. Students will develop the fundamental skills required to effectively install and maintain the Electric Distribution system, including the safe and effective use of common tools and equipment. Students will also build a strong working knowledge of accepted industry practices.

Amazon Sortation Center Warehouse Associate

The Call Center Specialist position involves providing consistent, quality customer service to both internal staff members and external patients. The Call Center Specialist will actively manage each call by taking ownership of it to enhance the customer experience and build relationships.
