YMCA Legislative Champion Awards
Rosario was selected by the Connecticut Alliance of YMCAs to receive one of their 2015 Legislative Champion Awards.

I will continue to support the work of the YMCAs across Connecticut and will do everything I can to facilitate the carrying out of their mission of strengthening communities on many different fronts.”
The YMCA serves communities through educational and recreation programs for youth and adults that enrich families, promote health and wellness, develop youth and build self-esteem.
According the website, the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA served 88,492 kids, families, and adults in twenty five towns and cities including Bridgeport and New Haven in 2014. The YMCA offers childcare, youth sports, summer camping and youth in government programs. Other programs include swimming lessons, health, wellness, education, physical activity and diabetes prevention programs and services.
