Yesterday I ventured back into a doctor’s office for my annual check-up. I was thinking of all of you as I snapped this photo, thinking I would share two messages. First, now is the time to check in with your primary care doctors about getting caught up on those wellness visits and preventive healthcare steps. Second is to please continue to wear your masks.
Tomorrow marks the beginning of Phase 2, which means that many more establishments will re-open for business. As I have reminded you many times, please wear your mask at all times when out in public and unable to keep 6 feet apart from others. Please continue to maintain vigorous hand washing practices, six feet of distance, and conscientious hand and face hygiene. |

Last weekend, Stratfield resident Stephanie Holroyd organized a tremendous community-building event, Art in the Village. With over two dozens stops, the program featured the talent and vision of our friends and neighbors. Promoted by the Stratfield Village Association and appreciated by many residents, Art in the Village was a wonderful way to build community, bring joy and showcase the gifts of our neighbors. From working pottery wheels, to pencil sketches, collages, paintings, photographs and music, those of us fortunate enough to participate were treated to a spectacular showcase. Many people have since commented that they hope it is an annual event. I do as well. Thank you, Stephanie.
