The Summer Leadership Training Program, held at Nichols College in Dudley, MA, offers students Grade 6 through Grade 12 the opportunity to strengthen their leadership and teamwork skills!
$76 Million CT. Grants For Stratford Schools
June 8, 2016Rep. Joe Gresko joined members of the legislative delegation representing Stratford in securing $76 million in grants for the town's school construction projects. The General Assembly approved the funding and Governor Dannel Malloy signed the measure into law last week.

Town To Get $915,000 More For Education
May 27, 2016Rep. Henry Genga joins his colleagues in announcing that they have obtained an additional $915,000 for the East Hartford school system in the new state budget approved earlier this month. The extra funding will help the town because of its inordinate percentage of students who attend magnet schools outside of East Hartford.
Special Education Supported
May 19, 2016The increasing cost of special education has placed a strain on many school budgets, especially Bridgeport’s. We are confident that a regional special education school can improve education outcomes for many students.
Students Head to National Invention Convention
May 19, 2016Today I gave a send-off from the State Capitol steps to 55 students traveling to the National Invention Convention and Entrepreneurship Expo (NICEE). The Connecticut inventors in grades four through twelve will travel from the State Capitol to Washington, D.C. to compete at the convention.
