Biography
Jane Garibay is the state representative for the 60th House District, which is comprised of Windsor and Windsor Locks. She is currently the House Chair of the Aging Committee and a member of the Appropriations and Commerce committees. Garibay is a lifelong resident of Windsor with a few years in Mexico and Vermont. She served as the Executive Director of the Windsor Chamber of Commerce from 1999 to 2018 and as Executive Director of First Town Downtown in Windsor (2018-2021). Garibay also worked for the Town of Windsor in the Recreation Department, taught English as a second language in Mexico, and taught Spanish at Saint Gabriel School in Windsor. Jane has been an active volunteer for most of her life, including volunteering at a hospital in Mexico for orphaned children with severe medical needs.

Jane lives in Windsor with her husband Bernardo, their niece Jennie, a dachshund named Bandit, and a cat named Dougie. They have three children: Cate, Jose, and Andrew, and one grandson, Faolan. She is passionate about senior issues, her family, and animals.
