When I was in high school, I decided that I wanted to be a teacher, and that's exactly what I did. It’s important that we offer the best learning environment for our children. This measure is common sense legislation because it helps ensure that classrooms are familiar settings to minority students. I am pleased this legislation was passed in the House unanimously and not it's headed to the governor for signing. Below are my remarks on the House Floor in support of this bill:
