Dear Neighbor,
In the spirit of the holiday season, our community is set receive state funding. During their meeting last Thursday, the State Bond Commission approved grants for several statewide projects, including a few based in New Haven:
- A Broken Umbrella Theatre: $250,000 planning grant.
- Creative Arts Workshop: $250,000 to create a master plan for facility upgrades.
- $6.75 million to New Haven for Goffe Street Armory structural stabilization efforts.
- Upgrades to Agricultural Experiment Station, including $1 million for HVAC improvements to a New Haven facility.
