Long Battle for Sinking Homes
It has been a long battle...since 2004...a battle that I continue to fight today – the securing state relief for homeowners of the sinking homes in the Beverly Hills area of Westville.
Homes on Beverly Road, Westerleigh Road, Ramsdell Street, Green Hill Terrace and Lawncrest Road have serious foundation issues from drastic settling and they find themselves with properties they can’t refinance or sell.
The issue is feature today in the New Haven Independent.
I am working with the New Haven legislative delegation to secure $4 million in state bonding funds for the for structural assessments and repairs to homes. The fight continues...
