I was happy to see New Haven residents testify before the Judiciary Committee on legislation I submitted to clarify a cities’ authority over billboards and electronic advertisements. The legislation would regulate such billboards and allow cities like New Haven to regulate the brightness and hours that such billboards can operate.

Valencia Goodridge, co-president of the Westville Village Renaissance Alliance and Alder Richard Furlow both testified in support of the bill.
