Autism Awareness Day
Did you know that 1 in 35 individuals are on the Autism Spectrum? Being a parent of a child who needs intensive services is difficult and every situation is unique. I'm learning that one-size-fit-all policies are not always the answer. I continue to lend my support in any way I can to support those impacted. I will continue to support this issue and protecting the programs that these individuals and their families rely on. Thank you to my colleague, Rep. Cathy Abercrombie for her commitment and support hosting this annual event at the State Capitol.
