On May 25th, the Town hosted its annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony in Old Wethersfield. The day continued with events and activities along Main Street.

Happy Pride Wethersfield! I had the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate our LGBTQ+ friends and stand in solidarity with our state and town leaders, as our LGBTQ+ community faces rising injustices in our country.

Wethersfield Town dedicated the Dan Camilliere Way and Memorial Green in honor of our former Mayor Dan Camilliere.

Connecticut is launching a new program that will expand health care to underserved communities while forgiving the student loans of health care workers.

I joined Connecticut Foodshare and their partners, advocates, and legislative colleagues for a press conference to highlight the updated food insecurity numbers released by Feeding America and to reiterate the need for continued advocacy around funding.

Connecticut law enforcement officers have our backs every day. We owe it to them to support their families and stand by them.
