Several new laws that address many issues aimed at improving our great state will become effective on July 1st.

I'm excited to announce that with the support of Sen. Mae Flexer, the Windham-Tolland 4-H Camp will be receiving $1,000,000 in funds that will go to Emergency Dam Repairs.

I'm proud to announce that Senator Mae Flexer and I secured an additional $2 million in the spending stabilization bill, or Bill 5523, for Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, bringing the two-year package of total state aid for the hospital to $17 million.

Today, Governor Lamont as signed SB 341, establishing a fallen officer fund.
