March 22, 2020Connecticut's fight to slow the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues. Beginning Monday night, March 23, at 8 p.m. Connecticut will join New York and several other states by suspending all non-essential functions in the state. The "Stay Safe, Stay Home" directive comes from an Executive Order issued by Governor Lamont on Friday. The order excludes essential services or functions, such as healthcare, food service, law enforcement, and similar services. Businesses are strongly encouraged to employ work-from-home procedures. Additional guidance for businesses regarding this order is expected shortly.
