May 11, 2026The bill requires the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) to develop successor programs for the RRES, NRES and SCEF programs, requires a study of consumer protections for solar photovoltaic system leasing and sales, allows the use of portable solar photovoltaic systems, requires the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection to implement an agrivoltaics program, and requires the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection to establish a pilot program concerning the installation of solar photovoltaic systems in environmental justice communities.

May 5, 2026A Point of Personal Privilege on the House Floor on May 4. With the help of my daughter, we presented a citation to Save A Suit, which has been joining us for a suit drive for the past three years. New this year, an event that brought approximately 100 veterans to the Capitol to try on suits & accessories to take home for interviews. We held veteran suit event on May 4.

April 28, 2026On Monday, the House passed HB 5522, "An Act Concerning the Right-to-Know Act and Requiring a Report Concerning Well Water Contamination Protocols." I stood in support of the legislation & shared impacts across the 57th District. The bill passed 144-5 (2 absent/not voting), showing clear, bipartisan support. Now it heads to the Senate for consideration.
