I testified Wednesday in front of the Government Administration & Elections (GAE) Committee in favor of HB 5551, "An Act Concerning Proceedings of the Siting Council and Other Requirements Concerning Certain Utility Expenditures." This bill would modify provisions concerning the Connecticut Siting Council, including its membership, establishing the Consumer Counsel as a party in proceedings, and modifying submission and notification requirements for council applications.
