June 15, 2022Juneteenth Independence Day is the oldest known commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States. It is a celebration of resilience, of culture and American history. It is a reminder of how far our country has come and how far we still have to go. We cannot understate the importance of Juneteenth. ParkConneCT Program Returns This Summer
June 8, 2022It is now easier than ever to visit a Connecticut State Park. ParkConneCT, a transportation service that offers fare-free buses to Connecticut beaches and state parks, is now open for the summer season. This expanded service will run through Labor Day.
