This year I introduced HB 6436, which would establish a framework for a regional collaborative on assessing the cost of carbon energy on fossil fuel energy users. This is only one small step in the fight for our environment. It is imperative that we act now to reduce emissions so that our children don’t suffer the catastrophic consequences of climate change.
I had a fruitful exchange today at an Office Hours event in Westport – I thank all of those that attended and that took the time to share their concerns, questions and ideas for the upcoming legislative session that begins on February 7.
