Advocating for Equitable State Services & Waterbury Promise Day
May 6, 2024I spoke at an equity fair with some of my colleagues from other Connecticut cities to share our vision of expanding state services for those in need. Students and organizers visited legislators at the Capitol to raise awareness about Waterbury Promise.

May 3, 2024The House passed a series of Democratic priority bills this week supporting children's nutrition, seniors, and victims of sexual assault. Advocates marched to the State Capitol on May Day calling for more legislation supporting our immigrant population.
