Traffic Control Signal Project In Stratford
March 9, 2022The Connecticut Department of Transportation will begin replacing traffic control signals to meet current standards in Stratford at the intersection of Main Street and Access Road. Work will begin on or about April 1, 2022.
The project includes the removal of the existing control signal and the installation of new control signals to meet current standards. Some preliminary layout work will begin prior to April 1.

Bond Commission Approves Funding Request For Raymark Site
December 23, 2021You may have heard last week that my $2.5 million bonding request for groundwater and soil remediation at the Raymark superfund site was added to the State Bond Commission's meeting agenda. Earlier today, the Commission held its meeting to vote on the allocation of the requested funds for our community and it was approved.

Great Meadow Marsh Project
October 29, 2021The Great Meadow Marsh project will restore significantly degraded coastal marsh habitat and result in improved wildlife habitat. I am very pleased to know that as part of this project, Audubon Connecticut will seek to employ youth from the Bridgeport / Stratford area to help educate people about the benefits this project will bring to our community.
