This past weekend, I attended the Bristol Chorale Concert that included a congratulatory citation for Rich Theriault. He has been a longtime music director, teacher, and musician for Bristol, and after 55 years of dedication to his crafts, has decided to retire.

I'm proud to say we passed a bipartisan spending stabilization plan that will ensure our two-year state budget's historic tax cuts are protected, and we invest in the priorities that matter to you.

I was happy to introduce the third graders from Hubbell Elementary School on the House Floor as part of their Capitol tour.

Today, we were able to pass HB 5001 out of the House to help out CT seniors, a measure I have been working on with my Aging Committee Chair Jane Garibay since the beginning of the session.

It's been a busy week in session as we've been able to address many different issues in bipartisan and multi-faceted ways in order to pass bills that will best benefit Connecticut.

The Connecticut Community Care Non-Profit is receiving $100,467 from the Non-Profit Grant Program, as announced by Governor Ned Lamont.

I'll be joining many of my fellow legislators as part of the host committee for the tenth Women-Owned Business Day next Thursday.
