This morning I had the honor of saying the Pledge of Allegiance to open what turned out to be an incredibly important day in the Connecticut House of Representatives.

I am honored to chair this committee this legislative session and to be able to play a role in facilitating the appointment of key positions that have a direct impact on Connecticut residents. Representative John-Michael Parker (D-Madison/Durham) was sworn in Wednesday to represent the 101st House District serving Madison and Durham for the General Assembly's 2021-2022 session.
