The Legislature is again considering a bill to legalize cannabis for adult, recreational use. Senate Bill 16, An Act Concerning the Adult Use of Cannabis, was the subject of a public hearing today before the Judiciary Committee.

Rep. Allie-Brennan is the proud recipient of the 2019 Humane Legislator Award for his commitment to animal rights. The lawmaker accepted the Humane Society of the United States award at the Danbury Animal Welfare Society in Bethel on February 8th.
