Rep. Dillon: Celebrating Earth Day and Honoring the Work of New Haven Environmental Organizations
April 23, 2026The Connecticut Land Conservation Council (CLCC) held a press conference at the Capitol to celebrate Earth Day yesterday. I was honored to be invited to speak alongside other environment advocates. During my remarks, I spoke about the importance of protecting the environment, and discussed the positive impact that the urban green and community garden grant program has had on New Haven. Thank you to all of the environmentally based organizations in the Greater New Haven area, including CItySeed, for the great work that they have done and will continue to do in our community.
