Community Conversation on Childcare
Please join Representatives Wood, Farrar and me for an online community conversation on childcare on Thursday, April 24th at 6pm.
In Connecticut there are approximately 181,000 children under the age of five, with 73% of these young children receiving care outside the home while parents/caregivers work.
This year, we are working on House Priority Bill 5003 which focuses on addressing the critical need for more affordable and accessible childcare for families and businesses.
The purpose of the event is to discuss the House Priority childcare bill and hear from parents/caregivers, providers/educators, and community stakeholders.
